Scary-skinny

I was bored this morning, so I looked up (on Google Images) 'healthy skinny'. What I found was far from healthy-skinny. It was horrible. Most of the pictures were of girls suffering from Anorexia. It made me think about my weight and how I look compared to their weight and how they look. To tell you the truth, I am happy being slightly overweight like I am now and not scary-skinny like them. If I am gonna lose weight, well, I am gonna do it the right way. Eating healthy and exercising. Not starving myself. I suggest to anyone else out there wanting to lose weight, do it the right way. Being a skeleton isn't cool. Here is what I am doing:

8:00 AM - Eat a small breakfast (oatmeal, pop tarts, two pieces of toast, etc.)
10:00 AM - Eat a small snack (Nutri-Grain bar, granola bar, 8 crackers, etc.)
12:00 Noon - Eat lunch (sandwich, 1 piece of pizza, etc.)
3:00 PM - Eat a small snack (bag of pretzels, crackers and cheese, etc.)
5:00 PM - Eat dinner (something with meat AND veggies, but small)
6:30 PM - exercise for 1 hour *until 7:30* (Sit-ups, push-ups, jogging, walking, etc.)
DON'T FORGET TO STRETCH!! :D

I do that everyday. My dad said that I would speed up my metabolism and lose weight, but stay fit at the same time. He said not to think of it as a 'DIET' because people think of diets as cutting back, but this is eating more. My dad also said that 'DIET' is 'DIE' with a 't' on the end to disguise what it really does. Think about this. Being a skeleton isn't pretty. Being lean, fit, healthy, and in shape is. And remember to have fun doing this. Do it with your family or a friend. I once heard that if you laugh at least 15 minutes a day life is just a bit happier. So have fun and be fit, not skinny.

XOXO
Steff
